I originally grew up in Florence, where I graduated from the University of North Alabama in 1982 with my bachelor’s degree in marketing. I am proud to be a second-generation insurance agent. My father opened his Florence agency in 1972, and I began working in the family business in 1979. Once I took over the agency in 1986, I moved our location to Decatur, and I am proud to work in such a wonderful community. We are excited about our expansion into the Huntsville Market!

When I’m not serving the people of Huntsville and its surrounding areas, I am very active in my local Church and my Faith is the most important thing in my life. I am a Deacon and a small group teacher at my church. I love working on our small farm and hunting whitetail deer. Some of my favorite places to hunt include northern Alabama, Tennessee, and southern Illinois. Last, but certainly not least, I love to spend time with family. We enjoy traveling but especially love going to the beach. My wife Rebecca and I have been married since 1981. We have two daughters, Ashley and Katie Leigh, and one grandchild. I am very proud of them. Ashley is a pharmacist and Katie Leigh works with me in the agency.
