I proudly built my whole insurance career in Charlottesville. I love being a small-business owner in a beautiful area near the mountains and beach. Our community is overflowing in rich history and open to all people (all nationalities, religions, sexual orientations and genders). We’re the epitome of a truly loving American city.

I began my career in financial services in 1995 and became an Allstate representative in 1997. I was honored to be named Rookie of the Year in 1997, as well as in 2018 as the owner of my agency. I purchased my agency from King Pace in 2017 and moved it to Pantops in January 2018.

I was born and raised in Baltimore but, when I fell in love in 1993, I moved to Charlottesville to court and marry my bride, Donna. Donna was born and raised in Charlottesville. She retired after 32 years as an elementary school teacher in 2010 and retired after 12 years as the director of a local preschool. Our daughter, Amanda, lives in Charlottesville and works at University of Virginia. I’m a big fan of the UVA Cavaliers, an avid road and mountain bicyclist, music and outdoor enthusiast, consummate reader and lover of fine foods.

I volunteer with the Building Goodness Foundation and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. I’m a member of the board for Benjamin Hair Just Swim For Life Foundation. BHJSL touches my heart every day since their mission is to waterproof kids by teaching swimming skills to help prevent drowning.

I joined the Wolfe Insurance and Financial Services team in June 2022 after more than five years in the wireless telecommunications industry. I’m originally from Abingdon, in SW Virginia. But the Valley has been my home for almost two decades. I currently live in Waynesboro with my wife, Amy, and three of my four kids.
Having studied theatre at JMU, I dedicate a lot of my time to the local theatre community. You’ll often find me volunteering at Stuarts Draft High School where my wife serves as an English and Theatre Teacher and the Director of the school’s Theatre Program. In addition to my volunteer work at the high school, I have been seen onstage locally at Oak Grove Theatre, ShenanArts, and The Waynesboro Players among others. When I’m not immersed in the performing arts world, I enjoy spending time with my kids, Julia, Carter, Wyatt, and Rebecca and training my Border Collie to become a therapy and assistance dog. I also devote time to increasing awareness of Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA) and raising money for the SJIA Foundation, a foundation dedicated to research into a cure for this rare, chronic, life-threatening auto-inflammatory disease.
