Prior to purchasing the Christine Jones Insurance Group, Dentistry was my studied career field.

Although dentistry taught me so many things, I have to say helping customers was the most rewarding experience of all. Hence, the transition into insurance was a smooth and satisfying career change.

Insurance offers me the freedom to help more people than I ever could have imagined. I have found that many people do not understand what insurance really does to protect them and often people do not understand the policy they have. When I have been able to help inform them to become properly insured, they see me as their trusted Allstate agent. How rewarding is that?!

Here at the Christine Jones Insurance Group, we serve our community as the headquarters for The Kindness Revolution, Western Washington. When I am away from the office you will find me spreading kindness and taking long walks with my best friend and husband Mark. Together we enjoy attending church, spending time with our growing family; the ninth grand child is on the way! And when we have time to ourselves, we enjoy cooking, weekend get a ways and romantic dinners out. We have two dogs, Chelan and Bear, who are my joy!

Ximena joined Christine Jones Insurance Group, LLC in Tacoma, WA in 2018. Prior to joining our agency, Ximena was a restaurant general manager. On her 18th birthday beginning her senior year of high school, her parents said they were moving to Mexico in 1 month and she had to decide if she wanted to drop everything and go with them or learn to live on her own and get her high school diploma. She decided to stay. She got her high school diploma but had to become a restaurant manager working 50 hours a week if she wanted to keep a roof over her head. She couldn’t go to college because she didn’t have the financial support, but her mother-in-law offered her a position in her new agency and was so happy that she did.

Ximena says the best part about her job is being able to help people. She enjoys informing people and helping them to understand not only the importance of having insurance but having enough of it. Outside of the agency, Ximena loves walking the trails in Point Defiance Park, watching the sunset at Chamber’s Bay, and longboarding the Ruston Way Waterfront. My positions in dentistry varied quite a bit from 1984 to 2016. I started as a student at Bates Vocational Institute and graduated with the first honor award as Most Outstanding Student. After dental assisting internships, I was hired as a Certified Dental Assistant and enjoyed working in Pediatric Dentistry the most. Ending my career in dentistry as a Consultative Sales Representative in 2016 and switching to my insurance career full time has been one of the most fulfilling moves I have made.
