I love Allstate with the exception, I don't like the 6 month policies. Everytime my policy renews my premiums go up and

I love Allstate with the exception, I don't like the 6 month policies. Everytime my policy renews my premiums go up and I ave no tickets or violations. I think they should offer 6 month and 12 month policy. My previous company always gave us 12 month policy.

Not knowledgeable enough to even bother going to office, I’ve had to call other offices to get answers or help, Macon office is much better but too far away, When Mr. Hillary McBroom ran my insurance from Barnesville I had superior information and help, even after he passed, his Secretary who took over was fantastic, but she left them after it was sold to Colony, for difference of opinion in how they wanted to run it, sorry to say I like Allstate but not sure if I move that I would continue with them

Thank you for the review. It appears that you are not overly satisfied though. What's going on? We would love to have a conversation to do a full policy review and understand what your concerns are. Rate increases are set at the corporate level and we have no control over them hear at your local agency. The good news is that Allstate has increased rates less than ALL our competitors and we should be level for some time now. We will be reaching out soon.

I am Jason Barnes, the President of Colony Insurance. I am the agent, the person who has the contract with Allstate. I started my first agency in Macon back in 2014. I since expanded to own 4 agencies in Macon and Gray. In 2021 I sold all my agencies to Colony Bank and together the bank and I purchased six more. You are affiliated with our Thomaston agency that we purchased from Hillary McBroom. Just like all of them it is owned by Colony bank and I am the agent. Obviously, I cannot be at all 10 of these agencies at the same time so I have a team of 20 very experienced licensed agents who I manage. I would be happy having any of them as my agent, especially Butch. You are in good hands. If you ever want to speak to me personally. Just ask. You will most likely have to leave a message for me to call you back because my days are pretty booked. I block off time each day return calls so you will hear from me within 24 hours.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. I totally understand the frustration with rate increases. My policies went up too. I do not like that, especially when everything else is more expensive now. That is the thing... we are suffering from widespread inflation. Insurance is one of the worst hit industries. Homes, construction, materials, cars, labor, parts... all of those have gone up tremendously! On top of that, lawsuits are more and more common for simple things that should not involve attorneys.
Sorry for the rant. It is true though. This review is for how WE did here at your local agency level. We do not set rates. I hope we have treated you how you want to be treated, gave you good advice and have been here when you need us. We can control that but not the rate. Thank you for your business and we WILL be here when you need us.

I understand the frustration with rising costs everywhere. Insurance is no different than groceries, gas, or rent. Please know a few things... we have no control over the premium here at your local agency level. That is set at the corporate level. Also, Allstate has had two rate increases in three years while our competitors have averaged two increases per year. Yes, we have gone up but less than our competitors. We are here for you and would love to do a full policy review to make sure you are 100% covered correctly with all the discounts possible.
