My background is in financial services. I spent my early career in the Allstate Corporate office as a Nationwide Marketing Manager for specialty product lines (motorcycle, boat and recreational vehicles) before purchasing my agency in 2011. I saw this as an opportunity to take the knowledge and experience I had gained from product management and use it to engage customers and help them learn to reach their financial goals, while addressing the risks we face every day. It also gave me a chance to own a business in my neighborhood, to be a part of that local business community and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that I’m able to help make a difference in people’s lives.

I grew up in Arlington Heights, and my wife, Susan, and I have raised our family here and are proud to be a part of the area. We have three daughters, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Katherine, and now have two grandchildren, Charlotte and James. I love spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren.

I’m currently the president of the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights, an organization of local business owners with the goal of improving the community and world we live in. Some of our projects include awarding $20,000 a year in Arlington Heights Community Grants to nonprofits and partnering with the student groups at Rolling Meadows High School and Prospect High School. I’m also the vice president of the Arlington Heights Historical Society, working to preserve the history of our community. My agency also belongs to the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce. Being able to contribute to the development of our community is very meaningful to me. Outside of work, you can find me volunteering at the Farmers Market in the summer or bowling at Beverly Lanes. My favorite past time is reading books about history, leadership and technology.
