I'm a Florida resident and was born here in the Tampa Bay area. I know Florida. I was driving a boat before I could drive a car. I know MacDill AFB. My wife and I grew up blocks from each other and we never knew it until telling each other stories after we met 25 years later. I watched my father and mother pull the kids inside the boat cabin when a heavy storm hit the bay and the adults were throwing anchors to point the boat hull toward the heavy incoming waves to split them. I've seen a palm tree sticking out of a concrete wall after Hurricane Andrew, my uncles house. If you need someone that knows Florida, I've been to almost every corner of it (ask me). From YeeHaw Junction to Key West, to Sebring with the beautiful lakes and acres of Orange Groves along the ride there, to Tallahassee where family lived and Jacksonville where my friend's father let us borrow the old 70's muscle car for the day! And back to the beautiful sands of Siesta Key. I graduated college here. I've been through the hurricanes, driven through the flooded waters, and I'm not scared of lizards.
