My beloved wife — Natalie — and I graduated from the University of North Texas, and she is working towards a graduate degree in music education at Texas Women's University. We have four sons and a daughter. My family is actively engaged in school and club sports. You'll find us near a soccer pitch on most weekends, and one of my biggest joys was to travel to Germany for two weeks of soccer training for my son during a summer break. Of course, that meant we were craving some Texas barbecue when we returned home.

Richard, my offsite adjuster, was fantastic—courteous, understanding, and truly tried to help. Liz, my agent, was also supportive and helped escalate concerns when needed. Unfortunately, my experience with Jametra, the in-house adjuster, was deeply upsetting. Her decisions felt more focused on saving money than addressing my needs, which added emotional distress to an already difficult situation. I was often left in tears, and her handling of my case made things worse. My home is still not fully restored—largely due to the contractor—but Jametra’s actions compounded the delays and pain. I still have reimbursements pending, but my priority now is getting my home finished. I’m grateful to Richard and Liz for being the light in this process, but I hope no one else has to go through what I did.

I have sent you a prior email - I am very sorry that you are unhappy with rates. Unfortunately, our office does not set the rates, it is done by corporate. Rates have gone up across Texas due to the record high number of Catastrophic Claims across the state in the past year. Add in the rising cost of a claim due to inflation, and it causes everyones rates to go up.
