In 1981, I came to the United States with less than $600 to my name. Today, I can happily say I’m living the American dream! I was born in Africa and, in 1972, sought refuge in the United Kingdom due to Idi Amin's expulsion of South Asians out of Uganda. After arriving in Baton Rouge, I married and relocated to San Antonio with my husband, Atul.

My husband and I began our journey as Allstate representatives in 1989. After leaving his previous company, he started representing Allstate which turned out to be the best decision ever! Seeing his success, I made a career change of my own, leaving behind my accounting career and opening my agency on Jan. 3, 1994. I became an Allstate representative because I was inspired by the opportunity becoming an agent presents. These opportunities, coupled with hard work, have allowed me to serve as my own boss, travel the world and spend invaluable time with family.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time in the San Antonio community. San Antonio is a vibrant city with many popular local attractions, including the San Antonio River Walk and Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. My family and I attend San Antonio Spurs games and catch shows at the Majestic Theater. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, fine dining, entertaining, hiking and traveling.

I'm a proud American and member of an immigrant family who employs 10 people within the San Antonio community today! Our office is in the heart of the medical center on Interstate 10 in the northern part of San Antonio.
